It’s such a contradiction watching them grow, isn’t it? All at once you are so pleased and proud you could burst, and overwhelmingly sad to see them break a little further away. Is hard, this parenting stuff.

I so relate to this. My youngest just told me recently “I’m not a baby” for the first time. (I call everybody in the house baby when momnesia prevents name recollection.)

Thanks for sharing another growing up moment. I swear they grow when I’m not looking, no matter how hard I try to keep up.
