My Girls

They’ve been sick for weeks, they’ve tested our sanity. But they’re still our little girls, and when Cupcake calls me “Momma” a little part of me melts inside. When Geeklet runs to me when I come back from the store and wraps her arms around both my legs, looking up and grinning, my heart swells.

    yes, the photo is precious. But the sentiment – the words – are what’s memorable. I need to try to take more pleasure in the little things. Like being clung to by two small creatures who are preventing me from walking on purpose…
