About

Who: Just your typical nuclear family with two parents, two kids, adapting to life and change and parenthood and childhood – and technology.

  • MommyGeek: 25 years old, a full-time working mother in a tech-related field, working on a degree in Education.
  • DaddyGeek: 28 years old, a full-time working father in a tech-related field, working on a Computer degree.
  • GeekGirl: 3.5 years old, a full-time toddler at her Grandmother’s house, working on conquering the universe.
  • Geeklet: 15 months old, a full-time peanut at her Grandmother’s house, working on shredding the thin strands of our sanity.

What: I post about everything and anything. Sometimes I might get a post up about something techie, but for the most part you’ll see me writing about myself, my past, my present and my future. There are few topics off limits and I’m always open to your suggestions.

When: I try to post here at least twice a week. Some weeks it’s more, some weeks, it’s less. Subscribe to this feed and you won’t have to wonder! Not sure what that means? Check out this great tutorial.

Where: We never use real names or places on this blog, but we’re somewhere in New England.

Why: Ah, the real question of it all.

  • Why not?
  • I’ve always wanted my own soapbox
  • My therapist suggested that journaling might help deal with the stress in my life.
  • I love to brag about my children.
  • I love the community.
  • I needed a reason to see what this BlogHer thing was all about.
  • I obviously don’t already have enough to do between full-time school, full-time work, full-time parenting and full-time life. Duh.
